As we approach the end of another year, it's a perfect time to reflect on the world of interior design and what trends emerged that stand out for me.

That being said, I am uninterested in trends and instead value classic design elements that will not date your design in a few years.  In a world flooded with visuals that often feel overwhelming and superficial, trends can lead us down a path of confusion and overwhelm. By embracing timeless principles, we can create environments that not only withstand the test of time but also beautifully reflect our personal stories and values.

There was one “trend” this year that I consider more of a classic, and I found it particularly exciting. Color drenching, although currently popular, is deeply rooted in timeless interior design principles that have proven their worth over the years. While it may be seen as a trend right now, I truly believe it has lasting power and will continue to influence design for the foreseeable future.

This technique transforms spaces, allowing walls, ceilings, and even furniture to harmonize in a way that feels both cohesive and intentional.
